The roof is a home’s primary defense against rain, but in a coastal region, where rain
usually is carried on high winds, extra care must go into the roofing to ensure its lasting performance in the face of frequent high pressures. This course examines the materials and building practices that are the most vulnerable to high-wind conditions and require vigilant inspection.
